Photography in Norway

As in many countries, the science, craft, and art of photography in Norway has evolved as a result of changing technology, improving economic conditions, and the level of acceptance of photography as an art form in its own right.

The first known photography in Norway dates from 1839, when Hans Thøger Winther bought his first camera. The oldest image on file is one of his pictures from 1840. Daguerreotypes became popular in the 1840s, and several entrepreneurial photographers established studios in major cities for portrait photography and also took portable studios to smaller population centers. Winther published a number of articles on photography in newspapers and published a book in 1845 titled:
Portrait photography became more affordable and commonplace throughout the 19th century, and around 1860 landscape photography took root in Norway. Marcus Selmer is considered to be the first landscape photographer with considerable production, but Knud Knudsen and the Swede Axel Lindahl made the most systematic efforts in traveling and capturing landscapes.
From the late 19th century until World War I, photographers set up shop throughout Norway. Many women were among them.
In 1901, Anders Beer Wilse returned from the United States. He became one of the most famous photographers in Norway. In addition to documenting natural landscapes and ethnology throughout Norway, he was also an accomplished portrait and architecture photographer.
Although dominated primarily by German influences in the late 19th century, Pictorialism caught on in Norway when it did elsewhere in the world and was promoted by Oslo camera club, founded in 1921. Photographers whose work represent Norwegian pictorialism include Robert Collett, Aage Remfeldt, Thomas Blehr, and Waldemar Eide.
Around World War I, portrait photography in Norway became more of an expressive art as a result of the work of Waldemar Eide

In confluence with the growth of the socialist movement in Norway, the Neue Sachlichkeit movement also influenced Norwegian photography. With the rise of photojournalism, the ethnological legacy of Norwegian photography gave rise to a growing interest in making social and political commentary through the camera.
In 1971, the first photographic work (by Kåre Kivijärvi) was accepted at the prestigious Autumn Exhibition in Oslo, marking the widespread acceptance of photography as an art form.
Efforts to preserve photographic works in Norway is coordinated through the Norwegian Ministry of Culture, has been made the responsibility of the Norwegian Archive, Library and Museum Authority, the Preus Museum

In 1928, the first initiative to create a national photographic archive was started through the formation of an iconographic commission. This was initially intended as a means to preserve historical visual records, but over time the interest increased in photographic archives that also preserved the craft, art red toothpaste dispenser, and technology of photography.
In addition to central archives in the National Library’s facilities and at the Preus Museum, there are 25 regional archives, organized by counties. A number of local libraries, museums, and other institutions also maintain photography archives.

. The school holds both a Language College award and a Healthy School award. It is situated just off Loose Road (A229), west of Mote Park and the Mote Park Leisure Centre.
The main school building surrounds a Tudor-style quadrangle with a cloister on one side. A new block was added in the 1960s. A sixth form and arts and crafts block was added in 1981. This newer building completes a second quadrangle. In 2005 a new refectory and teaching block of 15 classrooms was built, this building currently houses maths, history and art departments. There are over 100 classrooms, twelve science laboratories, a language laboratory, seven computer centres, music rooms, a lecture theatre, gym and sports hall and a canteen(refectory). A new ‘Applied Learning Centre’, with new editing suites, was completed in the 2010–11 school year, with a similarly styled ‘Food Technology’ and Sixth Form block having been opened in September 2011.
A house system was inaugurated in 1899 with three houses: School, East Borough and West Borough. By c.1900 these houses were revised based on local geography, with East House being for those boys east of the river, West House for those boys on the western riverside, and School House for townspeople and boarders. In September 2007 the school continued this tradition with the introduction of six school houses, these named after military vehicles: Challenger (purple), Churchill (yellow), Endeavour (red), Hurricane (green), Invincible, (blue), and Spitfire (white).
The sixth form is one of the largest in the south-east of England. Each year the school takes up to 200 students into Year 12, including about thirty external pupils of mixed gender from any school according to their GCSE results. The sixth form teaches AS and A2 courses.
School sport participation includes rugby, football, field hockey, cricket, rowing, athletics, handball, and basketball.
The school has a Combined Cadet Force, with Navy, Army and RAF sections accepting students on a voluntary basis when they reach year nine. The Cadet Force, in particular the Army section, has roots in the Royal Engineers. The Navy section is affiliated with HMS Collingwood, a land establishment in Portsmouth, the Navy section is the senior service after the creation of the CCF in 1906.
In 1908 Rev C. G. Duffield (headmaster from 1898 to 1913), wrote words in Latin to the music of music-master Dr H. F. Henniker for Gaudeamus, the school song. The words, based on verses in Virgil’s Aeneid, are still sung at every assembly and on special occasions
The Maidstonian is the school’s annual publication of reports

SUMO-conjugating enzyme UBC9 also known as ubiquitin conjugating enzyme E2I or ubiquitin carrier protein 9 is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the UBE2I gene.

Four alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding the same protein have been found for this gene.
The UBC9 protein encoded by the UBE2I gene constitutes a core machinery in the cell’s sumoylation pathway. Sumoylation is a process in which a Small Ubiquitin-like MOdifier (SUMO) is covalently attached to other proteins in order to modify their behaviour. For example, sumoylation may affect a protein’s localization in the cell, its ability to interact with other proteins or DNA.
UBC9 performs the third step in the sumoylation life cycle: the conjugation step. When SUMO protein precursors are first expressed, they first undergo a maturation step in which the four C-terminal amino acids are removed, revealing a di-glycine motif. In a second step, an E1 activating complex binds to SUMO at its di-glycine and passes it on to the E2 protein Ubc9, where it forms a thioester bond with a cysteine residue within Ubc9’s catalytic pocket. The loaded Ubc9 is now ready to perform the sumoylation of its various target proteins (also called substrates). It recognizes a particular motif of amino acid residues in these substrates: A large hydrophobic residue, followed by a lysine, followed by a spacer, followed by an acidic residue. This motif is usually described in shorthand as ΨKxD/E

. The central lysine within the substrate’s recognition motif is inserted into the catalytic pocket. There the carbolxyl terminus of SUMO’s di-glycine forms a peptide bond with the ε-amino group of the lysine 2016 prada outlet. This process can be assisted by an E3 ligase protein.
The sumoylation process is reversible 2016 hermes bolsos. SENP proteases can remove SUMO from sumoylated proteins, freeing it to be used in further sumoylation reactions. Thus the sumoylation life cycle comes to a close.
The protein UBC9 encoded by the UBE2I gene has been shown to be targeted by multiple viruses, including HIV and HPV. It has been hypothesized that these viruses hijack UBC9 to serve their own purposes.
UBE2I has been shown to interact with:

Till Death Do Us Part (X-Men)

Till Death Do Us Part is a series of 2 episodes in the animated TV series X-Men Animated Series.

The episode begins with Wolverine in the Danger Room training against robots that look like Cyclops, clad in a tuxedo. Meanwhile Jean Grey and Cyclops are getting married. Jean throws the bouquet for the girls (Jubilee attempts to restrain Rogue from flying and cheating), but the flowers fall on top of a box that Beast was carrying rabatt Puma fotballsko cleats utløp 2016.
After the wedding is over, the reverend transforms back into Morph. He is still deeply disturbed at the fact that he was left behind to die (this happened in the Night of the Sentinels (Part 2) episode after he was shot and the X-Men thought he was dead). Still clad in her wedding gown, Jean goes to the Danger Room and apologizes to Wolverine.
The president pardons Beast of all the charges against him and he is released from prison. Graydon Creed, who is the leader of Friends of Humanity, sends in one of his men dressed up as a mutant to terrorize everyone. Soon the Friends of Humanity start anti-mutant riots.
Morph is appalled by this and does not really desire revenge on his former allies, but he has developed a split personality with his evil personality being dominant. He poses as Magneto and sends a fake distress call to Professor X, saying he needs his help and is in some kind of trouble in Antarctica. So, Xavier goes after him alone and tells the X-Men it’s a personal matter.
Gambit, Beast and Wolverine go to a bar to play pool, where the Friends of Humanity attack them. Clayton Creed records the attack on video and uses the footage to slander Beast, as he appeared to be involved in a riot and terrorizing civilians. Wolverine gets mad at hearing this and goes out for a drive.
Morph transforms into Wolverine and gets inside the X-Mansion. He then transforms into Rogue and tells Gambit that she is able to touch other people. Gambit unwittingly later goes up to the real Rogue, kisses her, and falls unconscious.
Meanwhile, Morph transforms into Storm and tells Jubilee to go to a place to protect some mutants. It was a trap, as Morph had sent her to the headquarters of Friends of Humanity, where she was recognized and caught.
After hearing of another riot, Storm and Rogue go to stop them. Storm was badly injured when Morph transforms into the police chief and orders everyone to shoot her. Storm is taken away on an ambulance. Mister Sinister is revealed to be monitoring the whole process and then the episode ends in a cliffhanger.
The episode starts off with Cyclops and Jean Grey on a sailboat headed for an island. Meanwhile, Beast is overloaded with the Danger Room, but is eventually able to stop it. Morph, outside of the X-Mansion, feels as if he belongs there. Mister Sinister approaches him, and convinces him to turn back to his evil side. He then states that Cyclops and Jean Grey will be his.
Cyclops and Jean Grey, enjoying their vacation, is interrupted by Ruckus, who tears their ship apart with his scream. The rest of the Nasty Boys ambush the pair, and slip the power-dampering collars on them, while Mister Sinister introduces himself. Rogue and Beast rabatt Puma fotballsko cleats utløp 2016, back in New York, sneak into the hospital where Storm is. Rogue feels remorse over not staying with her, and then blames Beast. A doctor eventually comes in and notices the two standing by Storm, rushing away to get security rabatt Puma fotballsko cleats utløp 2016. At the Friends of Humanity rally, Graydon Creed brings out Jubilee, and the group plan on murdering her. Wolverine, who had managed to sneak in and disguise himself as a FoH member, bursts through and takes out the men, saving Jubilee and escaping.
Beast and Rogue return to the mansion to find Gambit, who is recovering from kissing Rogue. Professor X appears, as do Wolverine and Jubilee. Wolverine immediately knows it is not Professor X, and the professor orders the X-Men to kill him. But Gambit makes Morph reveal himself before escaping. The others cannot believe Morph is still alive.
Later, Wolverine and Jubilee find Morph in the X-Jet carrier. Wolverine explains why they had to leave Morph behind, honestly believing back then that he was dead, but the disturbed Morph suddenly shapeshifts into Wolverine. Jubilee confusedly blasts the real Wolverine while Morph escapes in the jet.
Jubilee visits Storm at the hospital and tells her of Morph. Meanwhile, Morph lands on the island and returns to Mister Sinister. Cyclops is shocked to see him alive, but Morph reveals he was the minister that married him and Jean Grey. He continues to blame Cyclops for leaving him behind, and prepares to shoot him, but is stopped by Mister Sinister. As he explains how he found Morph, the X-Men enter.
The Nasty Boys immediately attack, Ruckus’ scream blasting them out of the facility. Wolverine battles Hairbag, while Rogue fights Slab. Gorgeous George apprehends Gambit and attempts to rip him apart, but is flung away by Rogue. Ruckus is eventually defeated by Beast, and the X-Men prepare to battle Mister Sinister. Cyclops tries to convince Morph he’s still an X-Man. Morph then shoots Mister Sinister in the back, but he is unaffected. Cyclops, enraged, is able to break out of his restraints, saves Jean, and blasts Mister Sinister. He groans in agony, and begs Ruckus to get the plane. The Nasty Boys grab Sinister and flee in a jet.
Cyclops and Jean Grey vow to get married again one day. Morph escapes, while Wolverine vows to find him.
In Antarctica, Professor X finds Magneto, both confused. An avalanche occurs and swallows both men.
During the flashback scene images of Cyclops’ past, a shot of him wearing a classic yellow & blue style X-Men uniform, and fighting the Super-Adaptoid (a green robot with the powers of the original “Marvel Comics’ The Avengers”) is a scene based out of Uncanny X-Men issue #29. As Morph changes back into true form outside the X-Men Mansion, he makes reference to a 1990s Saturday Night Live skit as he says, “Making copies.”
Following Morph’s death in the pilot episode after being struck by a Sentinel, the character became extremely popular and re-appeared in the second season under demand from fans rabatt Puma fotballsko cleats utløp 2016. However, this was not initially planned and it was originally intended that Morph’s character continued to be presumed dead by the X-Men throughout the series.
Toon Zone published a review covering both chapters, describing the episode mostly positively, its only critical point being the episodes’ conclusion. Both chapters of the episode have an entry on Rotten Tomatoes.

Replacement value

The term replacement cost or replacement value refers to the amount that an entity would have to pay to replace an asset at the present time, according to its current worth.
In the insurance industry, “replacement cost” or “replacement cost value” is one of several method of determining the value of an insured item

. Replacement cost is the actual cost to replace an item or structure at its pre-loss condition. This may not be the “market value” of the item, and is typically distinguished from the “actual cash value” payment which includes a deduction for depreciation. For insurance policies for property insurance bogner ski, a contractual stipulation that the lost asset must be actually repaired or replaced before the replacement cost can be paid is common. This prevents overinsurance, which contributes to arson and insurance fraud. Replacement cost policies emerged in the mid-20th century; prior to that concern about overinsurance restricted their availability world cup soccer jerseys 2016.
Replacement cost coverage is designed so the policyholder will not have to spend more money to get a similar new item and that the insurance company does not pay for intangibles. For example: when a television is covered by a replacement cost value policy, the cost of a similar television which can be purchased today determines the compensation amount for that item. This kind of policy is more expensive than an Actual Cash Value policy, where the policyholder will not be compensated for the depreciation of an item that was destroyed Maje Clothing Outlet. The total amount paid by an insurance company on a claim may also involve other factors such as co-insurance or deductibles. One of the champions of the replacement cost method was the Dutch professor in Business economics Théodore Limperg.

Insurers purchase estimations on replacement cost. Major estimation companies include CoreLogic subsidiary Marshall Swift-Boeckh, Verisk Analytics PropertyProfile, Bluebook International, and E2Value. Consumer-focused tools include AccuCoverage and Home Smart Reports.
If insufficient coverage is purchased to rebuild the home, the insured may have to pay substantial uninsured costs out of their own pocket. In 2013, a survey found that about 60% of homes have replacement cost estimates which are too low by an estimated 17 percent. In some cases, estimates can be too low because of “demand surge” after a catastrophe.
Historically, consumers could purchase “guaranteed replacement cost” coverage which ensure sufficient limits if the estimate was too low, but these became “virtually extinct” after several California disasters including the Oakland firestorm of 199, the Laguna Beach fires, and the 1994 Northridge earthquake.
Although insurance is decided at the state-level, most states follow similar practices. In California and Texas, the insured is responsible for determining the proper amount of insurance. However, one survey found that about half of consumers believe it is insurer’s responsibility, and consumers may come to this conclusion through the insurer’s processes, which one legal scholar argues creates a “reasonable expectation” of coverage, which is a controversial insurance law doctrine adopted in certain states.
In California, the 2007 case on the issue, Everett vs. State Farm General Insurance Company, provoked an unsuccessful request by the California Department of Insurance and insurance nonprofit United Policyholders to depublish the case.
