Sir Sly is an American indie pop band, formerly known as “The Royal Sons”, formed and based in Los Angeles, California, United States. The band is fronted by vocalist Landon Jacobs with instrumentalists Jason Suwito and Hayden Coplen accompanying him. While they originally operated anonymously together under the band name “The Royal Sons”, the trio gradually built a steady following and managed to top The Hype Machine chart, eventually revealing their identities. Their original band gathered over $13,000 in a Kickstarter campaign, released an album, and then split up. Now they have come together under the new band name of “Sir Sly”
Their debut single, “Ghost”, was released on March 4, 2013, on the National Anthem and Neon Gold labels followed by the single “Gold” on May 21, 2013. “Gold” peaked at No. 30 on the Billboard Alternative Songs chart and No. 45 on the Rock Airplay chart. “Gold” is also featured in the video game, MLB 14: The Show.

On March 11th, 2016, the band released the song “Expectations”. According to the band, “Expectations” was one of the first written for their LP2, yet as the music grew it no longer fit with the sound of the album and is now a standalone.

In October 2015, Raeko (the alter ego of Suwito) recorded the song “Back 2 U” with Maya Tuttle of American majestic rock ensemble The Colourist.

Marcus Campbell

Marcus Campbell (born 22 September 1972 in Dumbarton, Scotland) is a Scottish former professional snooker player. He was ranked within the world’s top 64 for 15 consecutive seasons.

He is perhaps most famous for whitewashing Stephen Hendry 9–0 in the 1998 Liverpool Victoria UK Championship, one of the most surprising results in snooker’s history. He followed this win with a 9–6 win over Quinten Hann in the last 32.
He started the 2007/2008 season strongly by reaching the last 16 of the Grand Prix, coming through the qualifiers and beating players like Graeme Dott and Anthony Hamilton before his run ended in a 5–2 defeat to Joe Swail. He also reached the last 32 of the Welsh Open where he beat Lee Spick, Ricky Walden and Gerard Greene and gave Ding Junhui a run for his money before Ding eventually won 5–4. He qualified for the 2008 Bahrain Championship before scoring a 147 in his wildcard match against Ahmed Basheer Al-Khusaibi. He lost to eventual champion Neil Robertson in the last 32. He then qualified for the 2010 World Championship, where he lost 10–5 to Mark Williams.
Campbell won the first professional tournament of his career in Germany when he won Event 3 of the Euro Players Tour Championship beating Liang Wenbo 4–0 in the final. This result along with other consistent performances were enough to see him enter the top 32 in the rankings. He also qualified for the world championship for the second successive year, where he played Shaun Murphy. He subsequently lost 10–1 to Murphy.
In the 2011/2012 season Campbell qualified for six of the eight ranking events. His best results of the season were last 16 exits at the Australian Goldfields Open, where he lost 1–5 to Mark Allen, and at the World Open, thanks to Ali Carter withdrawing from the event, before being defeated by Graeme Dott 3–5. He played former champion Matthew Stevens in the first round of the UK Championship, despite the death of a close friend just a few hours before. Stevens won the match 6–2. Campbell played in all 12 of the PTC events, making two quarter-finals in Event 1 and Event 3, to finish 30th in the Order of Merit, just out of the top 24 who made the Finals. Campbell played Liang Wenbo in the final qualifying round for the World Championship and produced two comebacks in the match having trailed 2–8 and 5–9 to level at 9–9 bogner outlet 2016, before the match was delayed to let the evening session’s order of play begin. Liang had time to compose himself and won the decider to end Campbell’s season, which he finished ranked world number 25.
The 2012/2013 season began very well for Campbell as he qualified for the Wuxi Classic, where he reached the first ranking event semi-final of his 21 year professional career. He dispatched Stephen Lee, Fergal O’Brien and Mark Williams to play Ricky Walden in the semis. He lost the match 1–6 and stated afterwards that he “didn’t feel comfortable at all” and put it down to nerves. However, he also felt that winning a ranking tournament was now within his reach. He qualified for four of the next seven ranking events, but lost in the first round on each occasion. He had his best run of the season since Wuxi at the China Open where he overcame Peter Ebdon 5–3 and Graeme Dott 5–4 to make the quarter-finals. There, Campbell lost 2–5 to Neil Robertson. Campbell qualified for the World Championship with a 10–4 victory against Liam Highfield and played defending champion Ronnie O’Sullivan in the first round, who had taken a year away from snooker since lifting the title 12 months previously. Campbell missed opportunities in the first session to finish it 2–7 behind and went on to lose 4–10. Campbell was ranked world number 28 at the end of the season

Campbell lost in the first round to local favourites in the first two ranking events he qualified for in the 2013/2014 season. In the Australian Goldfields Open it was Neil Robertson who eliminated him 5–1 and at the Indian Open he lost 4–1 to Pankaj Advani. At the UK Championship Campbell saw off Lü Haotian and Michael White, but was then beaten 6–2 by Ronnie O’Sullivan. Campbell could not advance beyond the first round in any of the remaining ranking events and suffered a surprise 10–4 defeat to Alex Borg in World Championship qualifying, a player who had until then only won three matches all season.
Campbell was thrashed 5–0 by Ricky Walden in the first round of the Australian Goldfields Open. This proved to be his only last 32 showing in any event this season and, after he failed to progress past the last 32 of either of the two Q School events, he dropped off the tour as he was the world number 68, just outside the top 64 who remain.

Nanker Phelge

Nanker Phelge (aka Nanker/Phelge) was a collective pseudonym used between 1963 and 1965 for several Rolling Stones group compositions. Stones bassist Bill Wyman explained the origins of the name in his 2002 book, Rolling with the Stones:
When the Stones cut “Stoned” – or “Stones” bogner ski jacket 2016, according to early misprinted pressings – as the B-side to “I Wanna Be Your Man”, Brian [Jones] suggested crediting it to Nanker/Phelge. The entire band would share writing royalties. Phelge came from Edith Grove flatmate Jimmy Phelge, while a Nanker was a revolting face that band members, Brian in particular, would pull.
Thus anything credited to Nanker Phelge refers to a Mick Jagger/Brian Jones/Keith Richards/Charlie Watts/Bill Wyman collaborative composition. The ASCAP files for the very earliest Nanker Phelge compositions also list early Rolling Stones member Ian Stewart (also known as “the sixth Stone”) as a co-author covered by the pseudonym.
The name resurfaced in the late 1960s on the labels of the original vinyl pressings of Beggars Banquet and Let It Bleed. Manufacture of both albums was credited to Nanker Phelge, which was then acknowledged as an ABKCO company. (Apparently ABKCO was now manufacturing the records which were still bearing the London and Decca labels.)

Chris Ngimbi

Chris “The African Warrior” Ngimbi (born 18 April 1984 in Kinshasa) is a Congolese-Dutch Muay Thai kickboxer fighting out of the Siam Gym in Valkenswaard, Netherlands for Black Label. He is the two times It’s Showtime 70MAX world champion fighting primarily within the It’s Showtime and the K-1 Global Holding organizations.

Ngimbi was born in Kinshasa the capital city of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. He was born with a weak heart which doctors felt would make it hard for him to survive his first year. He spent his childhood in the African country but his family was forced to leave when he was 11 years old due to the civil war and the fact that his father had served in the political party of the recently ousted president Mobutu Sese Seko. Ngimbi relocated to the Netherlands and was a keen footballer in his teenage years and tipped to do well but decided to focus on kickboxing after making his amateur debut at 18 in Eindhoven representing the Duran Gym. He would later switch to the Calmaro gym in Helmond after his second B-Klass match with a fighting record of 12 wins and 1 loss. –
After fighting on the local scene for several years, Ngimbi was invited as a member of a Dutch team that would participate in a W.K.A. event in New York. Due to an impressive knockout of his opponent he would be invited back to the states the following year to contest against Atlanta based Thai Khunpon Dechkampu for the W

.K.A. intercontinental title, in what would be the first of a number of title fights on American soil. Ngimbi was successful on his return visit to the United States, winning the belt via KO and as winner of the intercontinental belt Ngimbi would get a shot at the W.K.A. world title in 2007, losing to Shane Campbell in their first match in Richmond, only to win the rematch six months later to claim his first world title.
In between trips across the Atlantic Ngimbi would have a number of fights in the Netherlands, defeating useful fighters such as Ray Staring, Kit Sitpholek and William Diender – the latter in the K-1 MAX Netherlands 2008 tournament in which he made the semi finals only to lose to eventual winner Warren Stevelmans (who he had beaten back in 2006). He also made his debut with the It’s Showtime organization defeating English fighter Rick Barnhill in Alkmaar. In February 2009 Ngimbi had another attempt to qualify for the K-1 MAX via a regional event in Utrecht but lost at the quarter final stage to Marco Piqué. This decision was modified after protest from Ngimbi’s corner. In May 2009 after the fight against Schneidmiller in the Amsterdam Arena he left the Calmaro gym to join Siam Gym in Valkenswaard

. The switch had led to victories against fighters as Chahid Oulad el Hadj and Hafid el Boustati.
In 2010, Ngimbi’s record with the It’s Showtime organization (4 wins, 2 losses) led to the organization inviting him to challenge two time It’s Showtime champion Murat Direkçi for his world title belt in Athens at the end of the year. Oronamin

Oronamin C Drink (オロナミンCドリンク, Oronamin Shī Dorinku?), produced by Otsuka Chemical Holdings Co., Ltd., (distributed and sold by Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co.) is a carbonated beverage available in Japan. It is commonly called Oronamin C or Oronamin. Its name is similar to the Takeda Pharmaceutical Co. product “Arinamin” and its name comes from Otsuka’s own Oronine H Ointment (オロナインH軟膏?) and its main ingredient, vitamin C. Oronamin C was named after the Oronine H Ointment in hopes that it would prove to be equally successful.

Oronamin C was introduced in February 1965 and was initially sold in a 120 ml glass bottle sealed with a bottle cap. It contains isoleucine and many other essential amino acids as well as many vitamins such as vitamin B2, vitamin B6 and vitamin C. It is not only available in supermarkets and convenience stores in Japan, but also in Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co. vending machines as well. The bottle cap was briefly replaced with a screw bottle cap, but following a nationwide scare during the 1980s regarding a large number of poisoned sealed bottled beverages, this screw cap was replaced with a one-time “pull-cap,” which cannot be re-sealed after opening. Child welfare activist Osamu Mizutani (水谷 修 Mizutani Osamu, born May 8, 1956) wrote that the previous screw caps allowed individuals to put in paint thinner and then re-seal the bottles.
In 2000 a “sister” product Oronamin C Royal Polis (オロナミンC ロイヤルポリス, Oronamin Shī Roiyaru Porisu?) was introduced. It contains royal jelly and propolis extracts.
While originally sold as a medical health drink with carbonation added, the Japanese Ministry of Health and Welfare filed a claim resulting in the judgement that Oronamin C could not be labeled as a medical health drink. This was a difficult time for Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co., but before long, the Genki hatsuratsu (元気ハツラツ?) television advertisement featuring comedian Kon Omura (大村崑 Ōmura Kon, born November 1, 1931) became recognizable nationwide, and Oronamin C grew into a best-selling health drink in Japan.[citation needed]
In the past, many competing companies have introduced similar health drinks in an attempt to topple the current market oligopoly, but so far, none have been successful (see #Similar products).
Oronamin C’s slogan is Genki hatsuratsu (元気ハツラツ?). The initial spokesperson for this campaign was comedian Kon Omura. This campaign appeared for about 10 years. In the mid-1960s television advertisements and enamel billboards were used for marketing Oronamin along with other Otsuka Group products. Japanese baseball players from the Yomiuri Giants also promoted Oronamin with the phrase “Oronamin is a small giant!” (オロナミンCは小さな巨人です!, Oronamin Shī wa Chiisana Kyōjin desu!?). The tagline “C power becomes G power!” (CパワーがGパワーになる, Shī Pawā ga Jī Pawā ni Naru!?) was also used in some advertisements.
The popular Japanese singing group SMAP’s songs became featured in Oronamin commercials in 1994 and 1995. Around 2001, a television campaign called “Let’s find the Yujiro of the 21st century!” debuted featuring actors from Ishihara International Productions, Inc.. Since then, many famous tarento have promoted Oronamin. Hideki Matsui worked as a spokesperson for sister product Oronamin C Royal Prolis during his career with the Yomiuri Giants.
Another version of Oronamin television advertisements were broadcast along with the Giants version, featuring Yuzo Kayama and the Southern All Stars. The campaign slogan was “Clear distinction Oronamin C” (明るくケジメるオロナミンC, Akaruku kejimeru Oronamin Shī?).
Starting in 2004 a tie-in was established with the hit Japanese Kamen Rider Series. Actors Takayuki Tsubaki, Shigeki Hosokawa, Hiro Mizushima, Takeru Satoh, and Kōji Seto, who appear in Kamen Rider Blade, Hibiki, Kabuto, Den-O, Kiva and Kamen Rider Decade have promoted Oronamin with special television commercials. In 2009, the animators who did the Fresh Pretty Cure! series also did the same.
Current television commercials feature Japanese idol Aya Ueto as the main cast appearing along with a costar sports athlete or other celebrity. Aya’s conversations with each celebrity are the topic of these commercials. The slogan also changed a little, to Genki hatsuratsū? (元気ハツラツぅ??). Initially her co-stars answered “Of course

For about a half year starting May 9, 2005, the Genki hatsuratsū? advertisement battle was held for all young members of the Yoshimoto Kogyo Japanese entertainment conglomerate. Performers were to plan and create an original television commercial, and these commercials would compete against each other. The prize was 8,202 dollars and the possession of broadcasting rights in the winners hometown. Among the many contestants, Nibunnogo! was the winner with Tōtarutenbosu in second place. For a full list of participants see the Japanese Wikipedia Oronamin article.
In 1971, a television advertisement “Home Party” introduced the recipe for the Oronamin Shake; Oronamin C mixed with a raw egg. Even today that recipe is featured on the Oronamin C recipe webpage, though using only an egg yolk is recommended nowadays. The television advertisement introduced the shake with the copy “My older sister and I have Oronamin and juice

. Mom puts in an egg and has an Oronamin shake. Dad has Oronamin and gin.” In 2004 a television advertisement featuring model Ai Tominaga (冨永愛 Tominaga Ai, born August 1, 1982) and singer-songwriter Shigeru Izumiya (泉谷しげる Izumiya Shigeru, born May 11, 1948) reintroduced the Oronamin shake.
